Azra Ozdemir

Law Clerk

Azra Ozdemir is a graduate of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in philosophy, and the William S. Boyd School of Law, where she obtained her juris doctor. Her legal career reflects a deep commitment to expanding access to justice for all communities.

Azra served as the Melanie Kushnir Access to Justice Fellow at the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada, where she contributed to initiatives aimed at improving legal resources for low-income individuals. During her time in the Misdemeanor Clinic, Azra represented clients facing misdemeanor charges, providing them with dedicated and effective advocacy.

After law school, Azra was selected to serve as a judicial law clerk for the Eighth Judicial District Court in Nevada, where she worked closely with the judiciary and court staff, gaining invaluable experience in the legal process.
