Bay Law & Shop Class Are Giving Back – One Home at a Time
Bay Law Injury Attorneys, in partnership with the Shop Class Foundation, is proud to announce the Veterans Day Tiny Home Giveaway.
A fully-equipped tiny home will be awarded to a deserving veteran in the Henderson or the greater Southern Nevada community.
This initiative is more than a housing donation, it’s a statement of gratitude and proof of what’s possible when education, mentorship and community come together.
Nominate A Veteran To Receive A Free Tiny Home This Veterans Day
If you know a veteran whose service, story and current need make him or her a worthy candidate to receive this gift, we invite you to submit a nomination. Veterans are also welcome to nominate themselves.
Who Can Be Nominated?
Any U.S. military veteran currently living in Southern Nevada with an Honorable Discharge or Other Than Honorable Discharge who could benefit from stable, affordable housing can apply or be nominated.
Whether it’s a friend, family member, neighbor, or someone you know through a local organization — if they’ve served and deserve support, please submit their name. When a veteran is nominated, we will reach out to them so they can finish the application.

What Makes This Project Special
This year’s tiny home was built from the ground up by local high school seniors as part of the Bay Law Shop Class Program, a real-world learning initiative launched by Bay Law Injury Attorneys and the Shop Class Foundation.
Over the academic year, these students learned all of the skills needed to craft a complete, energy-efficient tiny home – from reading blueprints and framing to electrical, plumbing, roofing and more.
Students building the home
Their hard work has become a home for a veteran in need who has given so much to our country and deserves safety, stability, dignity and our gratitude in return. It’s far more than wood and nails. It’s a symbol of what’s possible when youth rise to meet real-world needs.
“Our commitment to justice goes beyond the courtroom. We’re proud to invest in students who are building not just a home, but a future for themselves and for someone who has served our country.”
